How the VHO Clinics are Financed
Running Expenses of Basic Village Health Center:
The estimates given below are based on our experience of running several Clinics in different countries.

Salary for Part Time Doctor attending 2-3 days in a week for 3-4 hours (variable 15%) 70
Salary for attending Male / Female Assistant to the Doctor. This person will be from the Village (Vairable 15%). 30

** A Full time Doctor can look after 3 adjacnet Village Clnics.
*** Paying Rent for the place / House / Hut is not necessary as its provided Free of Cost by the Villager.
*** The amount 200 US$ / month seems surprisingly lo but it is the right amount for countries like India, Pakistan, Srilanka, Sudan, Yemen and etc.

 
Who will bear the cost of running the Clinic:

The amount of Approximately 700 AED (200 US$) will be generated by the reponsible person witht the help of friends who are interested to start a Clinic in their Villages. The person will send the money then directly into the account of a person as suggested by the Head of Clinic.

The Person will be of his confidence in the village, who will also look after running of the Clinic and the performance of the staff present there. The amount can also be given by any one of any agency that is intrested in starting a Village Clinic.
About the Charges:

Patients will be charged at 1 Cent. per Patient.

If anyone can not pay even this small amount the Doctor has the authority to wave the charges.

Besides, there will be Box placed in each Clinic for the donations.

The amounts of 1 Cent. per Patient is necessary to show that the treatment is not free, as things received Free of cost have no value.

Amount collected from this charge will be helpful in providing more facilities at the Clinic.
What will be done with Funds received in Surplus:

If Donor Agencies provides more Funds, these will be utilized in establishing more such kind of Clinics and to arrange the Mobile Clinics.

These will cover more villages in the remote areas. Some amount will be reserved for emergency purposes. The amount involved is so mearge that there will not be any leakage.
